Joel Hillier

Joel Hillier has spent three decades establishing whether what institutions say about themselves is true, and making that determination survive scrutiny. He has been chief procurement officer of a state-owned rail operator of 14,000 employees, executive director of a government procurement center of excellence governing A$24 billion of annual expenditure across 23 agencies, due diligence lead on a A$4.4 billion cross-border healthcare acquisition, and a fractional managing partner of a global corporate risk and intelligence firm. He is the founder and CEO of Certisyn, a verification infrastructure company certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001, and the author of four Internet-Drafts before the IETF. He holds a doctorate in business management and strategy, an MBA, and Harvard Business School certificates in Disruptive Strategy and Innovating in Healthcare.
